Anzac Day 2021 - Photos in Latest News tab
The Lobethal Dawn Service was held at the Cenotaph, out the front of the Uniting Church, 22 Main Street, Lobethal on Sunday, 25 April 2021.
Approximately 600 people attended, and heard excellent, honest, inspiring, but at times heart-wrenching accounts by RSL Lobethal President Adam Weinert and Padre/Vietnam Veteran Barry Fox about courage, guilt and service by veterans; this year focusing particularly on Australia's commitment to the Vietnam War.
Thank you to our helpers and sponsors
The catafalque party was provided by the 412 Army Cadet Unit from Woodside Barracks, Talitha Dodd sang the National Anthem and the Lobethal Men's Harmony Choir sang the hymns and provided the PA system.
Thank you also to the Klose's Supermarkets, Dunn's of Woodside, Amberlight Deli, Onkaparinga Meats, the Lobethal Hotel, Adelaide Hills Council, Lobethal CFS, Lobethal Uniting Church, Onkaparinga Rotary and Lion's Clubs and the Rising Sun Hotel Social Club for their generous contributions to make this Dawn Service a success.
The Dawn Service was also Live-Streamed via Lobethal RSL's FaceBook page
